T
his past Sunday Mike Koop arrived with a new song, written in response to the gospel reading for the week. Called “Jacob’s Well,” the song is a poetic imagining of the conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman recounted in John 4:1-42. A live-off-the-floor recording was made, and though it lacks the polish and balance of a studio recording we did think it well worth sharing. Mike is accompanied on this one by Charles Garinger (bass and vocals), Jodi McLaren (vocals), Larry Campbell (percussion and vocals), and Bob Hobson (percussion).
