To participate in the redemption of the world

To participate in the redemption of the world

This year’s Wednesday evening Lenten series was inspired by the call of our Diocese to really “hear” the challenges of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and to ask God’s mercy, forgiveness and transformative power to act in all our lives as we seek to be reconciled to one another and to participate in the redemption of this world.

We thought it good and right to focus on stories from people who are actively wrestling with different ways of participating in the redemption of the world. Here’s how the series has shaped up:

March 8 – David Falk – On radical hospitality

March 15 – Meaghan Pauls – Bell Tower Community Café

March 22 – April Klassen – On walking with the Bear Clan

March 29 – Rachel Twigg Boyce – Houseblend Ministries

April 5 – Pierre Plourde – Hand in Hand with Haiti

April 12 – Jamie Howison – Repentance and freedom | A Book of Common Prayer eucharist
