“I called your name”

Here’s some audio from our liturgy on Sunday September 16, in which we heard  a reading of Psalm 116:1-9 with a refrain drawn from the opening verses of Psalm 40. There are some evenings when the congregation of saint ben’s sings out in such a way that it is almost hard to believe… as we moved toward our closing – an a cappella chorus, no less – it seemed that the rafters of the old church were about to lift an inch or three…

    this is fantastic. i was just thinking, a couple of days ago about how i’d love to hear some of the singing that goes on during a sunday liturgy on the podcasts. thanks for posting this!
