There is No Condemnation

There is No Condemnation

Here’s a bit of “live-off-the-floor” audio from our baptismal liturgy for Trinity Sunday. It is a song written by Larry Campbell, but offered in a new arrangement under the leadership of Charles Garinger. This particular ensemble also included Robert Burton on electric guitar, Tatiana Friesen on viola and vocals, Trish Vrolijk on vocals, Rachel MacEwan on vocals, and Adam Kroeker on bass and vocals. Together they came up with an arrangement that allowed them to give the song a more contemplative feel which made the song well-suited to communion.

There is no condemnation

For those who live by Your breath

The law of Your Spirit of life

Has set us free from sin and death.

            A self-centered mind

            Leads to dying

            Walking with Your Spirit

            Is true life

            (And peace)

The law is powerless

            To do anything

            The Father sent the Son

            To live

            (His righteousness)

            (In me)
