Support saint ben’s
There are now four ways you can provide financial support to saint benedict's table:
Pre-Authorized Remittance
These are automatic monthly deductions taken directly from your bank account or credit card. These deductions are easy to set up and to change. Simply fill out and sign the PAR form and attach a void cheque or give the credit card number. The completed form and void cheque can be scanned and sent to finance@stbenedictstable.ca or mailed to 521 Broadway, R3C 1B9. The funds are withdrawn on the 20th of the month. Once you are signed up, you can change the monthly amount or stop the withdrawals simply by sending an email to finance@stbenedictstable.ca making this request. There is a fee of .50 cents charged to saint benedict's table for each monthly withdrawal from a bank account and a higher fee of 2.5% for payments made from a credit card (for example $2.50 for a $100 donation or $7.50 for a $300 donation).
2. E-Transfers
E-transfers - We are now set up to receive electronic transfers into our bank account. You can simply send an e-transfer to finance@stbenedictstable.ca If you are sending an e-transfer for the first time or your address has changed, please include your address in the note field so that we can send you a charitable tax receipt at the end of the year. There is no fee charged to saint benedict's table for receiving an e-transfer. However, depending on the arrangement with your financial institution, there may be a fee for sending an e-transfer.
3. Donate Online with CanadaHelps
CanadaHelps - Monthly or one-time offerings can be made through CanadaHelps. Please note that Canada Helps charges a fee of 3.5% to saint benedict's table for all donations made through this mechanism (for example $3.50 for a $100 donation or $10.50 for a $300 donation). Still for one-time or occasional donations this may be a good option for you.
4. Or a cheque…
You can continue to use personal cheques payable to saint benedict's table. During the Covid restrictions on gatherings, you will need to mail cheques to the address listed below. Once we start to gather again, cheques can continue to be placed in the offering plate at the back of the church.
