For a Time Like This: songs for the Liturgy

A music podcast featuring two liturgical settings written by our folks: Mike Koop's "Agnus Dei" and Jenny Moore's version of The Lord's Prayer. Both were recorded for our 2006 album We Will Not Be Silent: music from saint benedict's table. That album is currently available for download on Apple Music. 

These songs were recorded at Signpost Studio in Winnipeg, with the additional “congregational” vocals recorded at Dacapo Productions. When we use these settings on a typical Sunday evening we’d have more stripped down arrangements with just a guitar or two, bass, perhaps a piano and some hand percussion. For home listening, though, we decided to add things like additional guitar and more percussion.
