A People of Song
Of all of the arts, music is the one that has the most prominence at saint benedict’s table, largely because it plays such an important role in our liturgies. We have long been fortunate to count a number of fine songwriters as members of our ensembles, who have gifted us with an abundance of new music for the liturgy.
In the years when CDs were still a popular medium, we released five albums of original music in that format. You can still purchase our 2006 compilation We Will Not Be Silent on iTunes. We’re now in the process of developing an online “song book” which will allow us to share our music more widely, so we encourage you to check back here over the coming months.
