A Free Resource for Advent

Quite clearly the season of Advent is going to be quite different this year, given that our city is currently experiencing dramatic increases in the spread of COVID-19 which has led us to a return to Code Red status. For saint ben’s the need to continue the suspension of in person gatherings is going to be particularly tough in a liturgical season that has long held a special place in our community’s life.

We are offering a series of online “retreat” gatherings over the season, with more information on those available by clicking here, but we also thought it might be helpful to make our 2012 Advent book In Days to Come : Words for Advent available as a free PDF download. The book offers daily readings through the season, with contributions from Jamie Howison, Rachel Twigg, Steve Bell, Malcolm Guite, and Jaylene Johnson.
