Worship - Jamie’s farewell liturgy

From thoughts on a train in 2000 to the first meeting as saint benedict's table in September 2003 to the support of and settling into the furniture of All Saints in June 2004 sbt has been a story told and retold.

On Sunday October 3, 2004 saint benedict’s table was formally established as a ‘mission’ of the Diocese of Rupert’s Land. From stepping into the unknown to wonder and gratitude, from dreams and ministry shared, to a resonance with a rich and diverse community we proclaim, “Glory to God, whose power working in us can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.”

Bread and wine. A story told and retold. Music. Art. Ideas. Thought. Word. Silence. Deeper. This too, and more. Come to the table.

Come to the table once again Sunday September 10 as we are served by and bless the retirement of Jamie Howison as Priest of the sbt community, after close to 20 years in ministry with this community.

You can also join us online, as we stream live on our Facebook Page and YouTube channel. For those who either can’t join us that evening or aren’t particularly fond of Facebook, we’ll also post the video on our website the following morning at 10am.
