Theology by the Glass | the online version

It looks like we won’t be able to gather in May for the first in our summer “Theology by the Glass” series, so we’re moving online. On May 27 you can pour a cup of wine (or other preferred beverage) and connect with a group of us for some conversation about our reading for the month:

There are two articles dealing with Guaranteed Basic Income:

  1. One originally published in the Globe and Mail that makes a political and economic case for the initiative.

  2. One from the Jesuit journal America, which considers some of the matters more directly connected to the church and faith.

You might also be interested in reading a sermon by Stanley Hauerwas, preached on the American election day in 2016, which offers a good angle on how Christians might think about politics and political issues.
